We’re Manpreet & Jas, the couple behind White Daisy Weddings. As partners in life and behind the camera, we are truly obsessed with documenting people in love and celebrating the electric, unscripted chemistry that makes your connection singular.

Manpreet’s Cinematic & Film Mastery: Having worked in the wedding and commercial film industry for more than 10 years, Manpreet has crafted visuals for celebrities, prominent public figures, and major film production houses. He brings a director’s mastery of cinematic lighting, sophisticated composition, and high-production scale to every celebration—ensuring your wedding imagery carries the enduring grandeur of cinema.
Jas’s Heartfelt Documentary Eye: Having documented weddings for more than 5 years, Jas possesses an instinctive intuition for raw emotion and heartfelt candid moments. She watches for the unscripted magic—the quiet tear wiped during vows, the nervous hand squeeze beneath the dinner table, and the wild, uncontrolled belly laughter when nobody thinks a camera is watching.
We don’t believe in stiff posing or turning your wedding day into an awkward performance. Our approach is candid, warm, and unobtrusive—giving you the freedom to celebrate completely as yourselves while we archive raw, timeless art.

Yes. We specialize in capturing the emotional depth, rich ceremonial traditions, and couture fashion of multi-day Sikh, Punjabi, Hindu, and South Asian weddings across Surrey, Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and nationwide.
From the intimate turmeric rituals of the Maiyan and high-energy Sangeet to the sacred reverence of the Anand Karaj Lavaan at the Gurdwara and the celebratory grand reception, we archive every moment on medium format film and digital with director-level cinematic scale and candid intimacy.
Do you document Pakistani weddings and Nikkah / Walima ceremonies?

Absolutely. We regularly document Pakistani and Muslim weddings across Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and Canada. We have deep respect for the sacred intimacy of the Nikkah ceremony, the exuberant joy of the Mehndi, the emotional tenderness of the Rukhsati, and the regal grandeur of the Walima reception.

Do you shoot analog film alongside modern digital cameras?

Yes. We shoot a hybrid of medium format film (Contax 645 & 120 film) and 35mm film alongside state-of-the-art dual-card digital cameras.
Film delivers timeless, velvety skin tones, luminous organic grain, and authentic romance that digital alone cannot replicate. Meanwhile, our digital cameras ensure rapid, low-light reception coverage and instantaneous backup security.
Do you travel throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Toronto, and worldwide?

Yes. While based in Vancouver and Surrey, BC, we regularly travel across Canada—including Whistler, the Okanagan Valley, Banff, Lake Louise, Calgary, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)—as well as worldwide destination hubs like Lake Como, Paris, and Hawaii.
